Niche-dependent LIC leukemic transplantation potential.

1000, 1500, 12000, and 30000 CD34+CD2+CD7+Lin- and CD34+CD2+CD7-Lin- cells were sorted from T-ALL patient samples (Patients 03, 05, 11) and transplanted into neonatal immune deficient (RAG2−/−γc−/−) mice. Numbers of cells transplanted and numbers of mice for each primary (1°) transplant experiment are indicated in the table, and results are reported as mean percentages ± SEM. Serial transplantations were performed using 50000 bone marrow cells derived from the engrafted mice. For secondary (2°) transplants, five experiments were performed with an average of 4.0±0.32 mice transplanted per experiment. For tertiary (3°) transplants, three experiments were performed with an average of 4.0±0.58 mice transplanted per experiment.
