Small compilation of articles on cofactor engineering approaches in biocatalysis

Given that many enzymes in biocatalysis require redox equivalents such as NADH or FADH2, it is critical to engineer pathways or methods for regenerating these redox equivalents as their stoichiometric provision in biocatalytic reactions is expensive. This small dataset catalogue about 20 papers in the area of cofactor engineering approaches in biocatalysis that the author reviewed in August 2018. It is hoped that this small dataset offers a spread of papers in biocatalysis for the novice to begin their journey in the field.
