I developed an evpotranspiration (ET) dataset over China during 1979-2012, by using three land surface models including the CLM4.0, DLM, and VIC. The ET data was validated against flux towers at site scale and surface water budget-based ET at regional scale. It was also compared to the MODIS and machine learning based upscaling ET.
