The objective is to evaluate alterations in the gut microbiome of C57BL/6 mice following exposure to high-dose X-ray radiation. The mice were subjected to 12.5 Gy of X-ray radiation (Partial body irradiation) and treated with MIIST305 to investigate the role and efficacy of this novel mitigator. Gut microbiota comparisons were conducted between irradiated and unirradiated control mice at 6 and 12 days post-irradiation.
