Data files
1. Fitness.csv gives the growth rates (growth_rate) and decay rates (decay_rate) of each evolution line, where P10 and P28 is the phage populations evolved at 10 and 28℃, respectively. The column 'replicate' shows the replication id of each evolution line; 'measurement' gives the three replicate measures for the growth traits of each evolution line from full plate plaque assays; 'temp_evo' shows the evolution temperature; 'temp_assay' shows the assay temperature.
2. density_phage.csv gives the density dynamic of the ancestral phage when assayed at 10 and 28℃, respectively. The column 'transfer' shows the transfer number; 'replicate' shows the replication id of each evolution line and 'density_phage' shows the phage density from spot tests.
3. density_anc.txt gives the density dynamic of the ancestral phage when assayed at 10 and 28℃, respectively. The column 'temp' shows the assay temperature; 'time' shows the time measured in hours; 'replicate' shows the replication id of each evolution line.
All the analysis results are generated using code.R
