Regional Portuguese exports during the Great Recession

This repository contains the data and replication file supporting the article "Portuguese exports during the Great Recession: regional heterogeneity in export responses to domestic demand shocks" by Carlos Carreira and Luís Lopes, published in the Applied Economic Journal. Together, the data and code enable full replication of the empirical results reported in the article, including tables and figures. Contents: 1) regexp_database.dta: Firm-level dataset used in the empirical analysis (Portuguese five mainland NUTS II regions, 2010-2019). 2) regexp_v2.do: Stata code required to reproduce all tables, figures, and econometric results reported in the article.本仓库包含支持卡洛斯·卡雷拉（Carlos Carreira）与路易斯·洛佩斯（Luís Lopes）发表于《应用经济期刊》（Applied Economic Journal）的论文《大衰退时期葡萄牙出口：国内需求冲击下出口响应的区域异质性》的相关数据与复现文件。本数据集与配套代码可完整复现论文中报告的所有实证结果，包括各类表格与图表。 具体内容如下： 1) regexp_database.dta：本研究实证分析所用的企业级数据集，覆盖葡萄牙本土5个NUTS II级区域，时间跨度为2010-2019年。 2) regexp_v2.do：用于复现论文中所有表格、图表及计量结果的Stata代码。
