The objectives of this research were to understand the composition and function of the rumen epimural bacterial community from cattle with different RFI using next-generation sequencing and to interpret the relationship between the epimural bacterial populations and RFI. It was also the objective of this study to investigate the differences in taxonomy and function of the rumen content and epimural bacterial populations.
