资源简介:
Fertilization is a common agronomic practice to improve crop productivity and liming is often used to counteract the soil acidification caused by long-term fertilization; however, it is unclear whether liming counteracts the influence of fertilization on soil bacterial community structure and co-occurrence pattern. Here, we examined the influence of long-term fertilization and liming on the bacterial community in a cropping system by sequencing 16S rRNA gene amplicons in soils with or without fertilization and with or without liming from a long-term cropping system to represent bacterial community and infer co-occurrence networks. Fertilization, liming, and their interaction differently affected different taxa groups. The interaction effect between fertilization and liming enhanced the variation of bacterial community structure, which was dominantly driven by soluble organic carbon, electric conductivity, and nitrate concentration. However, the soil property variables driving community structures differentiated with taxa groups as well. Fertilization and liming decreased, but their interaction effect increased the co-occurrence association in bacterial community. This study provides insights into the long-term influence of the interaction between fertilization and liming on soil bacterial community structure and function; these insights are important for improving the fertility management of agricultural production systems.
