资源简介:
Estimation of boundary-layer height using profiles of SUMO There is one file per day of IOP There is one line per sounding with the following informations in 7 columns: 1st column: type of soundings (3=SUMO) 2nd column: hour in HHMM 3rd column: estimate of Boundary-layer height using the potential temperature gradient (maximum of the second derivative) (criterium 0) 4th column: estimate of boundary-layer height using the virtual potential temperature: (level where this variable gets greater than the average of this variable of the levels below + 0.25 K) (criterium 1) 5th column: estimate of boundary-layer height using the water vapour mixing ratio gradient (minimum of the second derivative) (criterium 2) 6th column: estimate of boundary-layer height using the maximum of relative humidity in between 0 and 2500m (criterium 3) 7th column: choice of the best criteria : 0 means criterium based on the potential temperature gradient, 1 based on the virtual potential temperature, 2 criterium based on the water vapour mixing ratio gradient, 3 maximum of relative humidity
