MASTERS THESIS: The study considers many aspects of the age and growth, food habits, reproduction, and movements of R. egregius in Lake Tahoe. In addition an account of intergeneric hybridization between the three species of native cyprinids in Lake Tahoe is included. Meristic and morphometric data are presented for the R. egregius X Siphateles bicolor hybrids. The two other hybrids (R. egregius X Rhinichthys osculus and R. osculus X S. bicolor) are treated in less detail.
