Installed energy capacity India 2024, by sector

As of February 2024, India's central government's installed energy capacity was over a 103 thousand megawatts. The government of the south Asian country was committed to increased use of clean energy sources and through small and large scale projects. In addition to renewable energy generation, the projects also aimed to create employment opportunities, especially in the rural areas
