Tarotoo Tarot Card Meanings: A Complete 78-Card Structured Dataset

A complete, machine-readable dataset of tarot card meanings covering all 78 cards of the standard tarot deck (22 Major Arcana and 56 Minor Arcana) in the Rider–Waite–Smith tradition. Each card is described by 22 structured fields: identification (name, arcana, suit, numerological number), esoteric correspondences (element, planet, zodiac), divinatory content (upright and reversed keywords and meanings, and upright and reversed love, career, mood, and spiritual contexts), and upright and reversed yes/no values for binary readings. All interpretive text was created by Tarotoo within the Rider–Waite–Smith tradition, drawing on established public-domain sources (principally A. E. Waite's The Pictorial Key to the Tarot, 1911, with attributions from the Golden Dawn's Book T), distributed under the MIT license, and validated by continuous integration. The dataset is the grounding corpus for the AI-generated readings on Tarotoo.com and is designed for retrieval-augmented generation, lookup services, and computational studies of tarot symbolism.
