Use of the "post-Soviet" category in scientometric research: a curated dataset

This dataset supports a study on the use of the “post-Soviet” category in contemporary scientometric research. It includes a curated set of publications identified in the Web of Science Core Collection and coded for selected analytical variables. The dataset contains bibliographic information and qualitative coding of how the category is applied across studies. It is provided to ensure transparency and enable further research on regional categorization in research evaluation.
