Systematic Human-AI Collaboration in Higher Education

This study introduces the AI-Enhanced Research Mentorship Model (AERM), a systematic five-stage framework designed to optimize human-AI collaboration in graduate-level academic skill development. Using a quasi-experimental design with historical controls, the study compared academic competency outcomes between 27 graduate students receiving AERM intervention and 27 students from traditional instruction cohorts at a major public university in Saudi Arabia.
