资源简介:
This product is a georectified and tonally balanced image mosaic of aerial photographs collected in February 1935 by the U.S. Soil Conservation Service along the floodplain of the Colorado River in the Lake Mead region of Arizona and Nevada. This dataset was developed to portray the geologic characteristics of the lower Colorado River floodplain and can serve as a resource to help create a historical geologic map depicting the floodplain and river channel features prior to significant flow regulation by Hoover Dam. Georeferencing of individual photographs and mosaic generation were performed by Digital Aerial Solutions, LLC. Also included are individual digital aerial photographs (original scans and georeferenced images) that cover the area of interest. Supplemental files include image footprints, georeferencing procedures and accuracy reports supplied by the contractor, and seamlines showing the extents of each photograph used in the mosaic. All spatial data is in the NAD 1983 UTM Zone 11N coordinate system.
