Perception of graduate students and postdoctoral fellows on the outcomes of interdisciplinary training within the Sentinel North training program (Université Laval)

The data presented here were collected as part of a study conducted within the Sentinel North training program (SNTP) at Université Laval (Quebec City, Canada). The program provided interdisciplinary training designed to operate across existing institutional structures, with the objective of strengthening interdisciplinary research capacity among graduate students (Master’s and PhD levels) and postdoctoral fellows. Data were collected using a cross-sectional study design based on a structured self-report questionnaire administered to the alumni who completed the program between 2017 and 2023. Data collection: The questionnaire was administered to all 318 SNTP alumni four to eight months after their graduation or completion of their Sentinel North research project. Data collection took place across six study periods (waves) between June 2021 and May 2024.
