These Digital Elevation Model (DEM) and XYZ datasets provide lidar-derived bare-earth topography for Fire Island, New York. Elevation measurements were acquired on October 25 and November 8, 2002 by the first-generation Experimental Advanced Airborne Research Lidar (EAARL) in cooperation with the National Park Service (NPS) and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). The authors acknowledge John Brock, Melanie Harris, Amar Nayegandhi, and Wayne Wright for data acquisition and processing.
