The bifenazate resistant Tetranychus urticae koch strains: BL2 and Wasatch were crossed to generate resistant and susceptible F1 crossings. The crossings and parental strains were tested for acequinocyl resistance. This was done by determining the LC50 values. The average mortality per concentration per strain and crossing was put in a graph and compared to determine if the resistance was maternally inherited.Cytochrome b of BL2 mites was sequenced to find 2 mutations causing bifenazate resistance and cross-resistance to acequinocyl: G126S and A133T.
