This work is part of the research program undertaken by the Argentine Institute and the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina. The investigations on biochemisty and nutritional characteristics of Antarctic krill have focused on three main themes: 1.- Applications of different electrophoretic techniques for the indentifications of species and populations genetic. 2.- Chemical composition and nutritive value of the Antarctic krill. 3.- Tissue fluoride levels in krill and fluorine distribution in marine ecosystems at Potter Cove area.
