Data is collected using water rangers equipment and following water rangers sampling protocols as outlined (https://staging.waterrangers.ca/act/resources-for-individuals/how-to-use-equipment/). Taylor Test strips are used to test pH, alkalinity, hardness, and chlorine (ppm), conductivity meter is used to test conductivity (uS/cm), and CHEMets Colourmetric Analysis Kit is used to test dissolved oxygen (mg/L). E. Coli data is collected following the the IDEXX laboratory method. E. coli test results are expressed as Most Probable Number (MPN) of E.coli per 100 ml by using the IDEXX Quanti-Tray/2000 MPN Table.
