We used zebrafish liver cells to establish ferroptosis model to explore the effect of 1,25(OH)2D3 on cell ferroptosis and its mechanism of action. The objective of this study was to investigate whether 1,25(OH)2D3 inhibits RSL3-induced ferroptosis in zebrafish liver cells by means of the Keap1-Nrf2-GPx4 and NF-kappa B-hepcidin axis.
