This dataset is designed for studying time-domain simulation in power systems, with a focus on inverter-based resources (IBRs). It includes paired electromagnetic transient (EMT) and RMS simulation trajectories for a single inverter infinite bus (SIIB) system under grid-forming (GFM) and grid-following (GFL) control modes. The dataset covers 3,000 distinct operational scenarios with diverse disturbances and initial conditions, supporting the training and benchmarking of machine learning surrogate models. All data is synthetically generated from simulation models (PSCAD and MATLAB Simulink) and is intended for researchers working at the intersection of power systems and machine learning.
