Spatial distribution data set of urban medical resources in China (2020)

Based on the China City Statistical Yearbook, the statistical yearbooks of China’s provinces, and the seventh population census data set, we sorted out the basic medical resources data of 341 cities (including prefectures and leagues) in 2020 and matched them to spatial administrative units. The data set includes three indicators: hospital beds per 10,000 people, medical personnel per 10,000 people, and number of 3A hospitals. The data set is stored in .shp and .xlsx, and the size is 23.3 MB. It can be used in the fields of urban sustainable development and basic health services.
