Code and Data for the manuscript "Microscopic Description of Basal Stress Generated by Granular Free-surface Flows" The following documents are necessary for reproducing the DEM case indicated in the main article. LIGGGHTS download insttuctions and operation manual can be found in this web site https://www.cfdem.com/media/DEM/docu/Manual.html #------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ geometry folder -contains the commands needed to generate the geometry generation folder -restart file contains the results from last stage -contains the commands needed to generate the granular assembly evolution folder -restart file contains the results from last stage -contains the commands needed to enable granualr partilces evolving from static to a steady-flow condition steady flow folder -restart file contains the results from last stage -contains the commands needed to derive DEM data after flows achieve a steady state. Note: lmp_auto is the executable for LIGGGHTS. #------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Run a case In the sample case folder simply type in the console: mpirun -np 4 lmp_auto < [FILE_NAME]
