资源简介:
Lost Creek is a small tributary of the Weber River located near Croydon, Utah. Currently, the United States Geographical Survey (USGS) has one active stream gage on Lost Creek measuring discharge. The gage is located a short distance downstream of Lost Creek Reservoir. Up to the USGS gage on Lost Creek, the creek drains a watershed area of 123 square miles (USGS, 2019). The Python code that creates a three month time series for daily maximum, minimum, and average flow rate is provided in a Jupyter notebook in the content section. This time series shows how the reservoir affects the flow measurement for Lost Creek during the months of July, August, and September 2019. The code can be easily modified by changing the USGS gage ID number and dates to show a similar time series for any USGS gage and time period.
