We are pleased to send you the Oceanographic Data observed by research institutes in Japan as a part of the lODE activity promoted by IOC/UNESCO. Enclosed CD-ROM contains following data. These are sorted into specific folders of each institution. - Hokkaido Univ: CTD (1995-2001); XCTD (2001) - JAMSTEC: CTD (1998-2003) - JMA: DBT, XBT, CTD, Serial station (2005, 2006) - NIES: STD, Serial station (2001-2003) - Tohoku Univ: XBT, XCTD (2007). We would like to correct some old data which we had sent you before. In this CD-ROM, a folder named as "updates" contains revised data. In this time, All corrections are provided by Japan Meteorological Agency. - updates (JMA only): Serial station (1951, 2004), XBT (1998-2004), CTD (1998-2004).
