Treated Wastewater and Soil Meta-genomic Samples. Metagenomes

This project explored meta-genomes from treated wastewater bacterial communities and soil irrigated in tandem with either freshwater or treated wastewater. Soil samples were also subjected to an enrichment step by inoculating them into LB media prior to the same metagenomic analyses. The meta-genomes were thereafter investigated for the scope and distribution of antibiotic resistance genes and selected mobile genetic elements therein.
