Active Layer measurements were taken on a 30 plot subset within the ARCSS Grid in Barrow, Alaska. Each measurement was taken on the north eastern most corner of each plot. The chosen subset was located from E2-E6 and J2-J6. The SEL lab's long depth probe was used (orange tape on the handle). Data have been corrected by subtracting 3 cm from measurements made in the field to account for the missing tip of the probe.
