Purse-string suture: a fast and effective option for closing the donor area of a clavicular full-thickness skin graft

The clavicular area is a well-established site for harvesting 39 full-thickness skin grafts (FTSG). However, because grafts are often round shaped, standing cutaneous cones need to be removed to allow primary closure of the donor area. This increases surgery duration (additional hemostasis and suturing), leads to longer linear scars (approximately three times the original defect diameter) and may increase the risk of postoperative complications such as dehiscence in patients taking anticoagulants.锁骨区域（clavicular area）是获取39份全厚皮片（full-thickness skin grafts, FTSG）的经典供区。然而，由于此类皮片多呈圆形，需切除直立皮肤锥块以实现供皮区的一期闭合。此举会延长手术时长（需额外开展止血与缝合操作），形成长度约为原缺损直径三倍的线性瘢痕，还可能增加服用抗凝药物患者出现创口裂开等术后并发症的风险。
