Gene expression profiling of mammary tumour cell lines in vitro and the metastatic site in vivo

We profiled four mouse mammary tumour cell lines by RNA-seq and compared their expression profiles to the well-established line D2A1 and its metastatic derivatives D2A1-m1 and D2A1-m2. Furthermore, we performed RNA-seq analysis to profile the metastatic microenvironment, comparing the gene expression profiles of mice >12-months-old and 3-months-old, with and without metastatic lesions.
