COMMEMO-DB: Transnational Database on the Memory and Perception of Communism Among Youth

<p>The database contains comparative survey results on memory and perceptions of communism across six countries: Poland, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Kazakhstan, Slovakia, and Georgia. The dataset includes survey questions concerning sources of knowledge about communism (e.g., family, history lessons) and the frequency of their use. Results are presented both as percentages and absolute numbers (number of responses) for individual countries and for the overall sample. The database enables cross-national comparative analysis and serves as a research tool for studying collective memory, historical identity, and the diversity of post-communist experiences.</p>
