The Israel Plant Gene Bank (IGB) of the Agricultural Research Organization is the national center in Israel to preserve the genetic resources of regional vegetation. It serves as a physical repository for collected seeds for current and future development, as well as a program to collect and conserve wild plants and Landraces seeds from natural habitats all over Israel.
