ALEXANDER FEINBERG'S CONTRIBUTION TO UZBEK LITERATURE AND TRANSLATION STUDIES

This scientific research article provides a comprehensive and systematic analysis of the life, creative activity, translation school, and the role of Alexander Arkadevich Feinberg, one of the prominent representatives of Uzbek literature and translation studies, in Uzbek–Russian literary and cultural relations. The article examines Feinberg’s artistic worldview as a poet, his deep devotion to world literature, his principles of translating directly from the original language, and his critical views on the shortcomings of translation through intermediary languages on a scientific and theoretical basis. In addition, the study thoroughly explores his approach to translating the works of great authors such as Shakespeare, Byron, and García Lorca, the synthesis of Eastern and Western literary traditions, as well as his philosophical views on literary imagery and the concept of the human being. The main purpose of the research is to conduct an in-depth analysis of Alexander Feinberg’s creative heritage and to determine his role in the development of Uzbek translation studies and the literary process.
