Transcriptome analysis and gene expression in pituitary of female Spotted scat (Scatophagus argus) at different ovarian development stages: Insights into before and after yolk formation

spotted scat is a nutritious economic fish, in order to investigate the function and role of the pituitary gland of spotted scat in the process of ovarian development, this study investigated the pituitary gland of spotted scat in the process of before yolk formation and after yolk formation by using eight transcriptome data.
