Harbor seals in the Gulf of Maine show high tissue levels of PCBs,
dioxins, mercury and other industrial pollutants. MERI Founder and Executive
Director Dr. Shaw will share these findings and others from the organization's
ongoing Seals as Sentinels study, and explain the implications for human health
and the ocean environment.
