Dryobalanops lanceolata are grouped into multi-purpose trees that produce non-timber forest products (NTFPs) such as resin and oil. Transcriptomic studies play an important role in understanding the oil yielding process from leaves. However, previous studies are based only on a single species D. aromatica, so that comparative profiling is recommended. Therefore, this research was conducted to analyze the transcriptomic data from D. lanceolata leaves to provide baseline molecular data in the expression of genes involved in the production of camphor oil.
