NSW - CRA/RFA - Forests - All Regions - National Estate - Geoheritage Places

National Estate Geoheritage places is a point dataset derived from published scientific papers, existing inventory studies, published geological maps, geological map explanatory notes and 1:100 000 scale topographic maps. The dataset was developed as part of the National Estate assessment for the NSW Comprehensive Regional Assessment (CRA) process.\n\nThe database provides a listing of geoheritage place names, place types, relevant Register of the National Estate criteria, geoheritage units, references (data source), page no in reference, eastings, northings, latitude, longitude, size class, data status (data quality) and fragility.\n\nThis dataset has been assessed against the following National Estate sub-criterion:\nA1: Importance in the evolution of Australian flora, fauna, landscapes or climate.\nA2: Importance in maintaining existing processes or natural systems at the regional or national scale.\nA3: Importance in exhibiting unusual richness or diversity of flora, fauna, landscapes or cultural features.\nB1: Importance for rare, endangered or uncommon flora, fauna, communities, ecosystems, natural landscapes or phenomena, or as a wilderness.\nC1: Importance for information contributing to a wider understanding of Australian natural history, by virtue of its use as a research site, teaching site, type locality, reference or benchmark site.\nD1: Importance in demonstrating the principal characteristics of the range of landscapes, environments or ecosystems, the attributes of which identify them as being characteristic of their class.\nH1: Importance for close associations with individuals whose activities have been significant within the history of the nation, State or region.\n\nThis is an archived dataset owned by the Australian Government, under the NSW Regional Forest Agreements (RFA) Data Agreement of 31 March 2000.This data is available to the public from the Department and may be used by third parties for unrestricted use provided that the copyright interests of the owner is protected.\n\nAny reproduction of this dataset must carry the following statement:\nCopyright Commonwealth of Australia 1997.\nDepartmental Deed

D1：在展示各类地貌、环境或生态系统的核心特征方面具有重要价值，其属性可作为该类别的典型代表。
H1：与在国家、州或区域历史上具有重要影响力的人物存在密切关联，具有重要价值。

本数据集为澳大利亚政府所有的存档数据集，受2000年3月31日签署的《新南威尔士州区域森林协议（Regional Forest Agreements，RFA）数据协议》约束。该数据可通过相关主管部门向公众开放，第三方可在保障所有者版权权益的前提下无限制使用。
