Resident foreign population and demographic balance at 31 December 2013

The dataset contains the annual movement and calculation of the resident foreign population. The calculation is based on the results of the last General Population Census (9 October 2011), to which the population movement of the resident foreign population is added every year. This movement consists of the natural movement (registrations by birth and cancellations by death), the migratory movement (registrations and cancellations by transfer of residence), post census corrections and registrations and cancellations for other reasons (eg reappearances, ordinary untraceability, etc.) occurred in the municipality during the year in question; cancellations also include acquisitions of Italian citizenship by foreign citizens. All data relating to the population movement are calculated based on the date of registration in the registry.
