Refugees and Immigrants, 1993

The purpose of the survey is to map out the attitudes of the Danish population to refugees and immigrants, i.e. Turks, Pakistanis, people from the former Yugoslavia, Tamils, Poles, Somalians, East Germans and Iranians. The survey makes an attempt at relating ethnic tolerance to the respondents' sex and age, education, social and financial conditions, the presence of refugees and immigrants, contact with refugees and immigrants, mental resources, political attitudes, party choice, characteristics of the local community, degree of satisfaction with own conditions, degree of urbanization, authoritarian attitudes, knowledge, political alienation, internationalism, and attitude to the environment and to the welfare state
