Data Charting Material for a Systematic Mapping of Unsupervised Learning in Longitudinal Educational Data

This dataset contains the supplementary data charting material associated with the paper “A Systematic Mapping of Unsupervised Learning in Longitudinal Educational Data: Educational Trajectories and Outcomes”. The material includes the search strategy, search strings, inclusion and exclusion criteria, AI-assisted screening prompt, and the extraction matrix used to code the 60 studies included in the review. The extraction matrix documents the main variables used for analysis, including publication information, educational context, data source, longitudinal scope, unsupervised learning technique, algorithmic approach, role of the unsupervised component, identified patterns or trajectories, and reported educational outcomes. These materials are provided to support transparency, traceability, and reproducibility of the systematic mapping process, in line with PRISMA principles and the PRISMA-ScR extension.
