资源简介:
File descriptions: flumegeom.m:Coordinate system defined for the cutoff flume and plots of its bankline and centerline. advcoor.mat:Coordinates of all ADV measurement locations with respect to the coordinate system of the cutoff flume (flumegeom.m). It contains a [7,2,25] matrix. 7 in the first dimension is the number of points in each cross-section, including 5 ADV measurement points and the left and right banks, from the left bank to the right bank. 2 in the second dimension corresponds to the x- and y-coordinates, respectively. 25 in the third dimension is the number of cross-sections, from 1 to 33 followed by A to D. Mean_HD.mat & Mean_LD.mat:Mean (time-averaged) flow data as 5 matrices for the High-Depth (HD) and Low-Depth (LD) experimental run. Each matrix is of dimension [8,5,25]. 8 and 5 are the number of points in the vertical and transverse directions, respectively, with the first row corresponding to the water surface and the first column corresponding to the left bank. 25 is the number of cross-sections in the order of 1-33 followed by A-D. bdmean is the elevation above the bed at each cross-section; ypos is the distance from the left bank at each cross-section. umean, vmean, and wmean are the mean flow components in the streamwise, transverse, and vertical direction, respectively. All units are in the metric system.  Turb_HD.mat & Turb_LD.mat:Turbulence data as 7 matrices for the High-Depth (HD) and Low-Depth (LD) experimental run. Each matrix is of dimension [8,5,25]. 8 and 5 are the number of points in the vertical and transverse directions, respectively, with the first row corresponding to the water surface and the first column corresponding to the left bank. 25 is the number of cross-sections in the order of 1-33 followed by A-D. urms, vrms, and wrms, are the root-mean-square values of the velocity in streamwise, transverse, and vertical direction, respectively. TKE is turbulence kinetic energy, defined as 0.5*(urms^2+vrms^2+wrms^2). Ruv, Ruw, and Rvw are the covariance of (u,v), (u,w), and (v,w), respectively, where u, v, and w are the velocity in the streamwise, transverse, and vertical direction, respectively. Elevation.xlsx:Elevation data of the flume bed and water surface of both experimental runs. See detailed description in the "metadata" tab in the file. The following are data in .csv format, output from the .mat files. Mean_Cartesian_HD.csv & Mean_Cartesian_LD.csv:Mean flow data in Cartesian coordinate. Column 1: x coordinate; column 2: y coordinates; column 3: z coordinates; column 4: x velocity; column 5: y velocity; column 6: z velocity. Mean_intrinsic_HD.csv & Mean_intrinsic_LD.csv: Mean flow data in the intrinsic coordinate. Column 1: s coordinate; column 2: n coordinates; column 3: z coordinates; column 4: streamwise velocity; column 5: transverse velocity; column 6: vertical velocity. Turb_intrinsic_HD.csv & Turb_intrinsic_LD.csv: Turbulence data in the intrinsic coordinate. Column 1: urms; column 2: vrms; column 3: wrms; column 4: TKE; column 5: Ruv; column 6: Ruw; column 7: Rvw. See the variable definitions above.
