Flood Risk Management Plan - PGRA - Risk Scenarios - 2021 edition

The risk scenarios express the potential negative consequences both economic and on the safety of people associated with a flood.The risk scenarios derive from the elaboration of the 2021 hazard with the type of element exposed and are represented in four classes: R4 (very high risk), R3 (high), R2 (medium), R1 (moderate).The data represent the first update of the Flood Risk Management Plan, pursuant to Article 14(3) of the Floods Directive 2007/60/EC, adopted by the Permanent Institutional Conference of the Po River Basin Authority on 20 December 2021.The following elements are represented:Linear elements: roads, railways, aqueducts, power lines, etc. environmental and cultural assets of significant interest; production sites or potentially dangerous technological plants, strategic structures and locations for collective activities, such as the headquarters of law enforcement agencies, schools, landfills, purification plants, etc. Urbanized, residential, productive, commercial areas; agricultural areas, parks, wooded areas, etc.
