Certain particular points on an exceptional transport route are likely to hinder, or even hinder, to prevent the passage of a convoy with risk of damage. These particular points, known as crossings, are typically works of art, gantries, traffic lights and other vertical elements such as decorations or overhead cable passages, etc. These crossings are located, recognised and validated by prefectural decrees, on the basis of agreements prerequisites with each of the managers concerned.
