16S rRNA sequencing, high-fat diet-fed mice. metagenome

Eight male C57BL6/J mice (6-7 weeks old) were fed a high-fat diet (56.7% of calories from fat). The mice were divided into two groups (n=4 per group). One group was injected intraperitoneally with 10 mg/kg of PBS daily (#1-4). The other was injected with indigo leaf extract (#5-8). After 4 weeks, fecal samples were collected and 16S rRNA sequencing was performed.
