ECONOMIC MECHANISMS OF AGRO-TOURISM DEVELOPMENT: A CASE STUDY OF THE REPUBLIC OF KARAKALPAKSTAN

The article analyzes the theoretical-methodological foundations, existing resource potential, and economic mechanisms of agro-tourism development in the Republic of Karakalpakstan. Opportunities for developing agro-tourism based on the region's unique natural, historical-cultural, and ethnographic resources have been assessed. As a result of the research, promising directions for agro-tourism development in 16 districts of the Republic of Karakalpakstan have been proposed. Practical recommendations have also been developed for establishing the "Agro-Tourism Association of the Republic of Karakalpakstan" and forming a network of guest houses in the regions.
