The data has been generated using the Discrete Dipole Approximation (DDA) implementation by Yurkin & Hoekstra, 2011, using the habit shape files provided in the ARTS database (Ekelund, et al. 2020, Eriksson, et al. 2018). The frequency is set to 1.5 GHz, the habits are forced to be fully horizontally oriented to begin with, and the incidence is kept fixed at tangential-to-surface, maximizing the difference between the co-polar components of the scattering amplitude matrix.
