Data Supporting the Evaluation of Environmental Research Infrastructure Services to Address Drivers and Impacts on Forest Health and Biodiversity
收藏资源简介:
This dataset contains the underlying and processed data supporting the study “Evaluation of Environmental Research Infrastructure Services to Address Drivers and Impacts on Forest Health and Biodiversity.” The study evaluates the role of five terrestrial Environmental Research Infrastructures (RIs) and monitoring networks, including AnaEE, eLTER, ICOS, NEON, and TERN, in monitoring major drivers and impacts of forest change across tropical, temperate, and boreal forests. The dataset includes the 129 peer-reviewed articles retained through the systematic literature review; classifications and frequencies of identified drivers and impacts of forest change; forest-type-specific analyses; processed data supporting the corresponding figures; and the comparative assessment of RI coverage of selected drivers and impacts. Frequencies of drivers and impacts represent their occurrence in the reviewed literature and should not be interpreted as measures of their relative ecological importance. RI coverage weights represent the relative extent of measurement, geographical coverage, and data availability identified through the comparative assessment and should not be interpreted as percentages of monitoring coverage or quantities of available datasets. The accompanying workbook includes a READ_ME worksheet describing the dataset structure and interpretation of the variables.
