Yours, mine, and ours: the development, management and protection of intellectual property in third sector organisations

There has been little research on the structural legal frameworks used by third sector enterprises to develop, manage and protect their intellectual property (IP). Third sector entities must implement effective strategies to meet their objectives and ensure ongoing revenue generating opportunities, and effective IP management is an important aspect of good governance. This article explores the landscape of IP in third sector enterprise, and outlines the risks and challenges in developing and managing IP in the third sector.

目前鲜有研究针对第三部门企业用于开发、管理及保护其知识产权（Intellectual Property，简称IP）的结构性法律框架展开探讨。第三部门主体需制定有效策略以达成自身目标并保障持续的创收机遇，而高效的IP管理亦是良好治理的重要组成部分。本文旨在梳理第三部门领域的IP发展格局，并概述该领域在IP开发与管理过程中面临的风险与挑战。
