The Synesthesia Atlas: A Cross-Language Databse of Synesthetic Associations

The Synesthesia Atlas is a cross-language database of synesthetic associations. The same experiment was administered in each language (with a forward-back-reconcile translation procedure to create language-specific versions): Color picker with three test-retest repeats (using https://github.com/nicholasbroot/synesthesiacolorpicker) Language history questionnaire Synesthetic experiences questionnaire Basic demographic information The codebook.csv file describes all variables collected in the study. Personally identifying variables (pii_clean.csv) are not available - if you need these, contact us ([e-mail]) to discuss the possibility of a data sharing agreement. All other variables in the dataset are uploaded here and maybe used freely, with attribution (citing this repository: 10.5281/zenodo.20419188). Make sure that you use the latest version - we upload new data as we add more languages.
