This dataset comprises raw Landsat satellite imagery from salt lake regions across Qinghai, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, Tibet Autonomous Region, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, and other areas including Gansu, Shaanxi, Shanxi, Jilin and Liaoning. The dataset covers the period from 1972 to 2013, including 4-band MSS sensor data with a spatial resolution of 78 meters, 7-band TM sensor data and 8-band ETM sensor data both with a spatial resolution of 30 meters. The data is sourced from the official websites of the United States Geological Survey (USGS) and Geospatial Data Cloud. The total size of this dataset is 174 GB, and it is fully open and freely shareable.
